SSC Form Fill-Up Deadline Extended with Revised Fees
The form fill-up process for the 2025 SSC and equivalent examinations, which began on December 1, had its initial deadline on Monday, December 9, without any late fees. However, on the final day, the deadline was extended by five more days.
According to a notice published on Monday night on the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board’s website, as well as similar announcements by other education boards, students can now complete their forms from Tuesday, December 10, to Saturday, December 14. The deadline for fee submission is set for December 15.
As per the new fee structure, the maximum fee for science students has been raised by 100 BDT compared to last year, making it 2,240 BDT. In the previous year, the maximum fee for science students was 2,140 BDT. Similarly, the fee for students in the humanities and business studies streams has also increased by 100 BDT, now set at 2,120 BDT. The board clarified that the fees include charges for practical exams and exam centers.
Additionally, educational institutions are permitted to collect a maximum of 100 BDT as a late fee from students. Furthermore, irrespective of when the SSC exams take place, schools are restricted from charging tuition and session fees exceeding 24 months for grades nine and ten combined.
